Frequently Asked Questions
The flat-rate tuition plan provides books, digital materials, and/or memberships in organizations required for a course. There are no additional out-of-state tuition costs for non-California residents. Students are responsible for consumable materials (ex: pens, notebooks, etc.).
Yes. Each year, National University awards scholarships and grants to students facing economic challenges based on financial needs and eligibility rules. To establish your eligibility for financial aid, please complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSA must be completed for each fiscal year aid is requested.
No. All students are provided with the same benefits afforded to similarly situated students regardless of the tuition pricing.
Yes. National University accreditation and class instruction quality are the same.
New students enter into MyTerms at the time of enrollment. There are two programs that are only offered in MyTerms pricing (Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications and the Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Design). Students in those programs looking to switch pricing models for these programs would need to change their degree program.
For students who decide to withdraw from NU entirely (rather than change plans), there is a tuition proration policy in the current catalog.
