Overview

Project management is one of the fastest growing professional disciplines in business. Modern business projects are complex and challenging, requiring a fine balance between meeting user needs, sticking to allocated budgets, optimizing resources, staying within scope, maintaining quality, and completing tasks on time. Without a structured approach to all these factors, it becomes nearly impossible to deliver a successful project. The right techniques and methods can reduce costs, improve efficiencies, enhance customer and stakeholder satisfaction, and create a competitive advantage for your business.

This certificate focuses on the principles, concepts, tools, and techniques that can improve procurement, risk management, project control and performance, and organizational effectiveness. You’ll examine all aspects critical to the success of company projects, including cost estimates, budget management, cost control, risk assessment, bid negotiation and contracts, and performance reporting.
